Price. It's cheaper to not have an ethernet port than it is to have one.

Really? I hate using WiFi for a system.

Well, if they had an ethernet port, they probably think they'd have to throw in an ethernet cable as well.

RE: Wii-U
To be honest, Wifi is a little bit unreliable at times, and I rather prefer cable. Though by what you guys are saying about the Wii U, it seems I am probably going to buy it. That, and Nintendo's first party games make my inner fanboy so very very happy.

You should hit my thanks button then.. Smile

And I forgot to add original Wii VC and Wiiware confirmed transferable.

That I like. When I first saw I could transfer DSiware and games from my DSi to 3DS I was super excited. Now Wii to WiiU will be even better because there was more money spent. Big Grin

RE: Wii-U
Now thinking about it, how much would it cost? I know that Nintendo learned pricing the hard way, and I am certain that they are trying to keep it cheap, but the Wii U is the first next gen console coming out . Think they will use that to bump the pricing?

RE: Wii-U
After reading (and reporting) a lot of the news from Nintendo's conference today, I can say I'm completely sold on the Wii U. I'll be getting one for the family at Christmas.

RE: Wii-U
Cool, Wii U is coming to England November 30th, might get me one of those with ZombiU.

Also Bayonetta 2 has been confirmed to be an exclusive for the Wii U.

Nintendo are showing their best here.

RE: Wii-U
Also with the premium bundle is Nintendo Land. So nice. ^_^

And Gamepad will most likely be around $150. Yeah.. that's CRAZY, but not surprising.

I wasn't surprised by the price of a second Gamepad either. With Nintendo not pushing out games that require more then one, and most games that you can use two on cut the framerate by half, I don't see a reason to buy a second Gamepad at all.

The only reason I see is if somehow the first one just stops working.
