RE: Saving
Also San Andreas. I don't want to drive ten minutes to a mission just because I shot Big Smoke in the face by accident

Man, you shot Big Smoke in the face. It's the least you deserve!

RE: Saving
Actually, the only reason I would hate these kind of save points is if I NEED to get out of the house for a lot of time and the last save point I saw was 5-10 minutes away.

I also hate the fact that before going somewhere I think that's going to be hard, I back-track a lot to find an old save point... only to notice that there was one RIGHT in front of where I needed to go. So basically, I ended up back-tracking for nothing.

But apart from that, I don't mind saving points ^_^

Every. Single. Time.

Sometimes I even do it three times >.>

When you get a job and kind of have to get to bed or leave the house... save points become a major problem.

RE: Saving
I understand their place in older games - most hardware couldn't handle preserving the specifics of a playthrough anywhere on the map (as in most RPGs). With the power of the current technology, there really is no excuse, save for artificially inflating the difficulty.

RE: Saving
I dont mind with the save points, but specially in rpgs, is much better have a Save option on the menu.

Well he wasn't bloody shooting the ballas and was too busy saying "Man I'm just finishin' mah fries".
So I got out, and 1080-noscopez'd him with my minigun.
