They're probably milking you for money. If you don't know what some of the terms mean, they're probably charging for something trivial.
They straight out LIED to me, I even told the person at the customer service about it but they just shrugged it off. I am going to see what I need to do about the Cat 5 cable because that is all I can think of as a solution is to just hard line my computer to the modem. It will suck because it still is far away but I hope it will work.
If I am REALLY lucky then I can HOPEFULLY get this all working by this weekend but knowing my luck and track record with this situation, it will be ANOTHER gorram week IF I AM LUCKY to start streaming again.
Oh well, never a dull moment I suppose.
Could you not buy one yourself? They're around $1
Buy what? A modem?

That too. Would be cheaper too.
The problem is that I have no idea how the layout of the attic is from my computer to the modem so I am just going to get someone out here to help and I will assist him whenever I can.

Surely a cable to physically connect your computer to the internet-box (I have no idea if it's a router or modem or whatever) would be the cheapest option. Amazon do very cheap cables - you could just run it along the ceiling.
You should try these. No idea how they get them to work, but my friend has them. You Plug the Ethernet port form your computer to one end a plug and plug than into the wall, then wherever your modem is (downstairs) you plug that into a plug socket and then connect that Ethernet cable to the modem. T'is crazy

Wow that's actually kinda neat. Just need to make sure they don't blow up when you plug them into your wall output.
I already used those, well not that brand but I did use wall adapters where one was hooked to the router and the other hooked to my computer, it was not that great.

I do appreciate the help and feedback =]

The contractor that helps out around the house already called somebody, we are just waiting to hear back from that person.
Okay so my internet is still shit sooo I am just skipping having my friend join me and I am going to fly solo through the Blackwood Estate and I welcome any who are brave enough to join me. I WANT to stream this game on Saturday around 1 or 2 PM EST and I know that will probably interfere with some people and I can't really help that so if there is a better time for you then please let me know.

I did solve the windowed mode dilemma I was having earlier last week so I hope that will make the stream better.
