Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes?
So this is something that has been getting me excited is the possible remakes of Ruby and Sapphire. Loved the games and would love to see it rebooted as they did with HeartGold and SoulSilver. I hear that the recent Black 2 and White 2 have some hints to the remakes or even a possible sequel! I wanna hear what you guys know!

Note: If anyone has any hints from Black/White 2 they would like to share please put in a spoil box so I doesn't ruin the game for people who might wanna play it. Thanks

They should just remake Emerald if anything. It was a combination of both (as Pokemon tradition)

But then everyone would have the same version. If there are two version then people can play with different versions and help each other to get every Pokemon. One version would just ruin that and make the social aspect dull... plus in remake tradition they make the two games not the 3rd (FireRed/LeafGreen, SoulSilver/HeartGold)

I can understand that the different versions can aid each in a way and can differ. I actually prefer that, but I personally would want Emerald as a version. Rayquaza is best.

They would add Rayquaza just like they added Celebi to SoulSilver/HeartGold

Having 3 different versions of the same game (even just 2) is just a marketing ploy theyve been going with since day one, and they proved that the most when they released emerald. With platinum they were just courteous enough to give you an extra story.
Even if they just combined it into one game people would still socialize and 'help eachother out', it all depends on the type of pokemon that are made available to catch in the region.

What they DO need to bring back is the marathons like in HS/SS, I thought those were fun. Breaking cinderblocks and marathon running. That needs to be able to be held on wifi too that'd be perfect. :c

But Fire Red and Leaf Green are based on a series that has 3 before (Green, Blue and Red). Should just give everyone the final version of that series.

Bleu = green with updated graphics for the western audience. Yellow is the 3rd one in that series

RE: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes?
Well, in other games, they put little hints in the previous game to show they are remaking something.

Black and White had Dive back as an HM.

Also this.

Anyone remember that part? No...

These remakes are inevitable, hints popping up here and there always happen. I can't wait really, it's my favorite gen.

RE: Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire remakes?
Ruby and sapphire are due for a remake. If you look at the game cycle, remakes are always made after 2 gens have passed. I would be completely surprised if gamefreak/nintendo didn't continue that tradition.
