And the fact that they include the DLC stuff on the CD you bought is plain ridiculous.

You didn't catch his drift. Tongue

Eugh, DLC.

To be honest DLC shouldn't even fucking exist. Nuudoru is right, it is cancer.

To biggest insult from game developers in my opinion is Day one DLC, or DLC BEING ANNOUNCED BEFORE THE GAME IS EVEN FUCKING OUT. That seriously pisses me off, if the game is coming out in say 2-3 months, and you're already making or have made the DLC. PUT IT IN THE GAME. Seriously, exploiting gamers will just make people hate the game and thus the company more.

Valve do it alright, the DLC is free instead of being paid for, because they want to add more to the game, not because of money, they're only forced to pay on Xbox and PS3 because they want money.

But on topic.

I usually finish a game before playing the DLC, Fallout 3, and NV are an example of this. I finished the game. (4 times on NV) and then played the DLC for it, it's nice to have a level boost, since you want to kill enemies instead of being forced to.

I did actually, but talking about console games, a good part of the gamers actually buy the CD , instead of your way. And even though they might have the money for it, the fact that the DLC is inside the CD you bought is stupid.

I'm sorry if I sound like a dick saying this, but that's not it that is not how he got said DLC. Do I have to tell you straight up?

Sigh. I'm not talking about his specific situation. I'm talking about people that actually BUY their games in their consoles. Yea, the people that make the selling numbers they show us every year.
Those that buy the games and the dlc's end up paying for something that could've been in their games already because they bought the CD with it.

Most games that offer premium options or priced DLC are all apart of the cancer that is killing games...

Well I can understand premium. Like Battlefield 3 and its $50 Premium service.

Or COD and it's ELITE service.

Another excellent example. Wish it really wasn't resorted to that service. I mean sure you can play a maps 2 weeks eariler or can get all DLC, but its just stupid. If only things weren't about money DLC-wise at least. lol
