Surely a different name would've been a smart move. Thanks for the link too.

RE: The Free Thread
Many among you will have seen the Bulgarian assassination attempt on the news yesterday.

The way they're kicking this guy while he's down is totally reprehensible, but I did chuckle when two heroes come in - a guy who tucks in with a suitcase and some old dude, obviously devoid of fucks to give, who waits for things to quiet down before trying to deck the would-be assassin with his umbrella.
Suitcase-man and Umbrella-man, coming soon to a theater near you.

Here's the link just before suitcase-man appears. I'm not directly posting the video itself because it does show violence. (No-one got hurt, but I don't doubt the assassin will have a headache in the morning.)

I guess they wanted to stay recognizeable. I read somewhere that they made sure they won't be dragged down again. How, I have no idea.

I think the difference now is that you can't just download any old file, you can only download that which you have uploaded.

Perhaps an exploit will be sneaked in somehow.

Man, I remember the jump from Gen 6 to Gen 7 in consoles. And now I look back at it, it's crazy to see how far video games have come.

I love playing my old games (though I don't have any old consoles, most of my old games are either through Virtual Console or XBLA). Gameplay holds up really well these days.
No matter how "great" the graphics got, or how "cool" games looked, I have always loved my NES, SNES and 64. I only have a Wii to keep up with Zelda, and I have never owned or played an Xbox. I have just enjoyed the Nintendo gameplay and storylines better, no matter the graphics. I'm sure there are others like me out there. I just need to find them haha Big Grin

Just another apartment. But to me apartments are just really expensive storage units that you sleep in. Undecided

I'd never thought of it that way, but you've nailed the proverbial nail on the head.

"Apartments are just really expensive storage units that you sleep in" - Beware of Cuccos, 2013
Fun story- yesterday my new dresser came in. I got one that actually called a "media chest" (apparently these are big things these days) It looks like a dresser but has two openings at the top instead of drawers (plus 6 actual drawers below them) so I was going to put my bedroom tv on top, dvd player and cable box in the holes, and clothes in the drawers. Well, it doesn't fit on the wall with the cable hook up and I had to rearrange my new room just so it would fit, and now I have to find something else to put on the cable wall before the cable people get there tuesday.

That's why my kid's first console will be a NES. No new console until they have sucked in all the greatness of yesteryears.

That's what I'm planning to do. Rather than let the kiddies get the latest 3D augmented-reality legit Super-High-Def Noscopez-machine, I'm going to give them a block GameBoy, then when they're six or seven, they can get a N64, then at 13, they'll get a PS2 and/or Gamecube. As a college/university present, they can then get whatever they want.

Flawless Big Grin
I'm doing the same thing. I want my kids (if I have any that aren't cats) to earn and appreciate things like I do.

Haha no worries. I used to check profiles, but hardly anyone puts anything on them so I stopped. But I should have checked before I asked.

Do you know what would be genius ? Ceiling wardrobe.
You attach your ceiling wardrobe to the ceiling, then you just have to press a button for the compartment you want to come down. There is no use for the ceiling at the moment - apart from the lights - so use the rest of the space for a ceiling wardrobe.

I'm going to make millions.

I guess there's no need for me to answer this anymore.

Honestly, just remembering the rise of the internet makes me want to get a rocking chair and a blanket.

Haha seriously. I remember when Oregon Trail and Number Munchers was the extent of computers. Then all of a sudden BAM! Dial-up began and the internet was born.

The Following premiered tonight. Currently watching. So far, one scene has disgusted me. But so far it's pretty great.
