[A Zombie Riot]

TobyTurner didn't start youtubing by video games. He started doing them later and his fans love it so much that it's his biggest channel. He mainly does Annoying Orange on Cartoon Network.

He's not that bad of a guy. Now the other people, yeah, you have a point against them.

To me it seems like Toby and Pewdie like to play games and beat the living CRAP out of them (I was trying to refer to the 'beating a dead horse' analogy FYI)

I watched Toby start his gaming channel from SC2 to Fallout:NV to Skyrim and Terraria and I believe his Skyrim is still going on.

PewdiePie is starting to branch out of his Slender/Amnesia videos WHICH IS FINE! but when he is saying the F word all the time and his recent one "Bully" is starting to get a little creepy as his character has no pants on...

I still watch Pewdie but no longer Toby because he has lost my interest and Pewdie at least plays other games (multiple ones as well)

But if you want someone who plays horror games along with other games check out Cinamontoastken.

Toby's main games are Minecraft and Happy Wheels. He is also playing Halo 4 with his niece and playing Planetside 2.

If you guys haven't already, you should check out DMJared's channel, he mainly does unscored reviews of games, both really good and really terrible, as well as some of the best individual LP's I've seen, just watch his Heavy Rain videos and you'll see what I mean.
Oh, and he's (Sort of) part of Screwattack if that helps convince you.

My point exactly. He didn't start out by making games, but once he saw people like DSP, TB and the others making money on YouTube he jumped on the bandwagon to cash-in on the latest trend. Watch his videos, he has no idea what he's talking about OR the series in general(for anything). Instead of actually talking about the game itself he adds stupid commentary with dumb childish voices because he doesn't know what to say about the game. Not only that but his commentary isn't live, it's scripted and edited to make it seem live.

You watch Egoraptor, PHTC and the others speak with confidence about gaming with a HUGE knowledge of gaming. You can hear in the way they speak and what they say in their videos because they ARE gamers and make content FOR gamers. TobyTurner/iJustine etc were dumbarse Vloggers who had no interest in gaming until they saw how much money they could make on it. Then you watch their "gameplay" and realise how fake and pathetic those people are. They only play the "money makers" like Minecraft, Dumb scary games or Happy Wheels(you can see for yourself it's a face). They're ignorant about gaming, have no idea about what game their playing and aren't the slightest bit funny. It's a comedy act yet their audience think it's legit and still support them by watching it. This all has a negative effect on us real gamers. It's about the money and misrepresenting us gamers on YouTube and what was started.

Also yes I missed out a lot of other people like DMJared, PeanutButterGamer, FarFromSubtle, HappyConsoleGamer NerdCubed. These people and the others I mentioned make gaming videos because they love gaming and it's a hobby. NOT because it's the latest trend cash-in. You can easily compare TB to PewDiePrick and see the difference in the way they present themselves and their content.

To those who like Pewdiepie/Toby/iJustine/whoever! Just keep it to yourself and remember other people may not like that, the same goes to those who oppose Toby and anyone else. It is their channel and if they have supporters then they will keep doing these videos.

Just yesterday when I saw it featured with him playing Halo 4(with someone who I thought was his girlfriend).

Also no, I'm not ignorantly bashing someone. That's the complete opposite of ignorant. I've been on YouTube since 2006 and doing gaming videos and I've seen how gaming has become big and those that have become big 'proper' gamers so I consider myself knowledgeable about gamers on YouTube. You even stated it yourself that TobyTurner didn't start out making video game related content. This again proves that his is someone jumping on the bandwagon and cashing-in.

If I was ignorantly bashing someone then I would say "TobyTurner sucks and is [this] or [that]" without bringing points to the table. I've watched his(and iJustines) videos in order to make my opinion valid. Can you deny that they didn't start with Vlogging, then suddenly shift to gaming and start playing games like Happy Wheels? I even said it before, you can see who are the real gamers like DSP and are doing it as a hobby, not for the money. TobyTurner contributes nothing to gamers you should wonder why people like TB, PHTC etc never feature those people on their channel, because they're scumbags. TobyTurner is scripted and fake with his commentary.

Egoraptor rambles on about why X sequal sucked to JonTron. TobyTurner has nothing to say about gaming but makes 'scripted' stupid remarks. You can tell who is a gamer and who is a fraud cashing in.
Why doesn't JonTron/TB ever play scary games/happy wheels? Because it's dumb and they play games they want to AS gamers, not because it's the latest trend.
Sooner you realise you're being played for a fool then sooner we have a less of those people.

Look, I understand that you might not like him, but your whole argument is pretty stupid, IMO. When I watch him play games, I can see that he thoroughly enjoys playing the games he does.

If this whole argument was against iJustine... dude, you would be so right. She's such a faker. She actually got rid of one of her video game videos because of all the hate talk she got towards it (It was a Portal 2 video, so you might've seen it, might've not).


I don't feel like continuing on with this little "argument." You don't like Toby Turner, that's fine. I don't care if you like someone or not.

It really pisses me off how a formerly funny youtuber who did unique things like his Literal trailers drove away from his actual only good videos into boring repetitive blogs and uninteresting video game videos. He reminds me of a modern day Fred, back then when he used to be funny, then he started to make boring videos and became a sell out with the Annoying Orange show and embarrassing himself at E3. Any body looking for a video game channel to watch, here's a tip: don't watch channels that play every new shooter/ popular flash game that comes out.

Changing the subject, the channels I watch are chuggaconroy, Haydunn, GameGrumps, JoshJepson, Yuriofwind, Jontron, and TheRunawayGuys. I like these channels because they play games that they have knowledge on, their commentaries are interesting to listen to, and they take time on their videos, usually playing a game they've played before and they know what they're doing.

A few months ago there was some controversy with Pewdiepie and Retsuprae where they made this video that was a compilation of different Retsu fans watching random PewdiePie videos and acting disgusted (some pretended to kill themselves and others pretended to vomit) and Pew wrote a "sarcastic" comment that made him sound like a douche where all he cared about was the money and what not.

Personally I am not sure about this, I enjoyed his videos on To The Moon and stuff like that but his other videos have a lot of sexual references and what not.
