It's just Los Santos and the country side.

Why can't they just re-make the old world with a modern society Sad

I look forward to the user mods that will create the rest

And seeing how the company did make RDR they should have had no problem with making the full San Andreas.

Rockstar San Diego made RDR. They're known for making the Midnight Club games along with the Table Tennis game and Red Dead Revolver.

The people behind GTA are Rockstar North.

Maybe San Andreas will be remade when the next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony. With all the rumored power that the consoles will have, it will be perfect for a GIANT GTA game. Right now, the game is limited to the limitations of the console(s).

There are different developers inside of Rockstar Games.

Rockstar North are the ones who mainly do the Grand Theft Auto games.
Rockstar San Diego are mainly known for doing the Midnight Club games (a racing game series).

Let us please not drive politics into these forums.

I am deeply distressed on a personal level that my passions of firearms and games are pitted against each other.

I'm not driving politics into anything. All I did was ask if anyone else read it.

Call of Duty is a war simulator

"Ughhhh I've been shot! Hold up everyone, I need to take cover behind this wall while my health regenerates and the bullets fall out of me like I'm the frikkin Wolverine".

*sigh*...Well let's wait out this shit storm and, once again, find out that video games don't cause violence except in people who can't tell fantasy from reality, but they have mental illnesses, because even 5 year olds can tell the difference, but 5 year olds shouldn't be playing super violent video games anyway, hence how they're rated M for mature, making that case just bad parenting.
