Scribblenauts Unlimited is AMAZING

Take this example - Some cat was stuck up a tree, so I summoned a liopleurodon, attached wings to it, and rode it up to fetch the cat. Ok, the liopleurodon started attacking the cat but bloody hell this game is good

RE: The Free Thread *gaming related*
So, I like how my email address just magically doesn't exist on dewxp.com anymore. Yet it has been there for YEARS. In fact, I just used it last night and it existed just fine. I go on today, sign in and says my email and/or password doesn't match. So, I reset my password and I don't even get an email to reset it.

It exists because I tried signing up again using the same email and it tells me it is already registered.

What?
-
So, Apparently I must've changed my password. I must've had slight amnesia because I don't remember EVER changing my password....

Did Simon all the sudden learn how to use his paws to type with a keyboard and somehow go in and change my password? Because there is no way it changed by itself.
-
I am beyond confused here. So, I'm just going to stop, enter in my codes and play some Halo 4.

I enjoyed the demo, love the characters and that it's a non-traditional fighter. Watching Matt and Pat play it get me HYPED.

Oh, I'm still gonna get this game Day 1. I'm just saying it seems like SEGA screwed Platinum over the price drops. Hell, I'm gonna preorder it tomorrow to ensure it's in my hands on the first day. I just hope it sells well so we can see a Max Anarchy 2 or maybe this could kick off a new type of fighting games. Now, I know this isn't the first 3D open world multiplayer brawler, but it does look good enough to start a trend of sorts.

This game won't sell haha! Platinum games have...they have "US" as a fanbase. Y'know gamers. Platinum always send out the sleeper hits or the treasured gems.

Like their previous studio Clover Studio:
Okami, Viewtiful Joe and God Hand. We love them but they never quite got there.
No they're Platinum studio and they make:
Mad World (which lead to SEGA saying they'll never put another exclusive game(or so)on the Wii), Bayonetta (which sold terribly) and Vanquish which is one of the most awesome fun games I've played this generation...that didn't sell. Anarchy Reigns...no hope there. I honestly don't see Anarchy Reigns breaking the 200, 000 mark.

A guy once asked me what games I like. I answered "horror games". He then asks me what platform they are on.

I think a part of me died that day.

I'm considering playing through Dead Space for the first time. It will be interesting since I'm a huge wuss to that kind of game. I could barely get through Resident Evil 4 because of the jump scare moments..

I would say good luck, but since the game isn't actually scary, and is only cheap jump scares, I'll just say try not to get pissed off after the 30th jump scare in only one hour.

Someone seems to not appreciate the game that much, really jump scares are never a bad thing, and plus it's not a straight up horror game it's survival horror, in which the game is really just how you're going to manage your resources and survive properly, and jump scares aren't bad for that kind of game because they force you to act on impulse, instead of kind of already knowing what's gonna happen and preparing for it, with survival horror genre games you have to always be prepared instead of just at the moments that the game wants you to be, because you don't know when they are going to happen if the game did it right. But don't get me wrong I'm not saying your statement about the game not being that scary isn't true, I mean hell every horror game isn't scary after a while because you get desensitized to how the game scares you, by the end of that game jump scares made me shoot while mumbling to myself that the thing was a stupid son of a bitch, but you are way over exaggerating the number of jump scares, there are a lot in the first bits of gameplay but they stop coming up so often after a bit.

Man, I really gotta work on my run-on sentences.

Edit: Whoops that was Mass Distraction who stated his favorite genre was horror not you Ouberry, my apologies on that note, but I still bet you're very fond of horror games by your reaction, but the last part of my post is now omitted as being possibly incorrect.

Show's

How could they? I was gonna get the new DMC game just to try it out, but now...no. Just no. Not after such a minor spelling error like this. How dare they allow such a mistake to fly by. Shame on you, person who operates the DMC game's twitter feed. Shame on you.

Haha! That actually sounds like people nitpicking and using that as a "valid" reason to not buy this awesome game. Seriously the dumb haters would go that far.

That's "show's" is bothering me now though.

RE: The Free Thread *gaming related*
Bog 'ol patch released for Borderlands 2 today. My game was a victim of the freezing bug. I downloaded the patch very early this morning and played for about 10-15 minutes and no freeze (before, I could barely get 1 minute of playtime before it froze). Things are looking good.

More testing and playing tonight to see if it was actually fixed for me. It's unfortunate that this patch doesn't fix it for some other people though.
