I would devour "cashews of chaos"

RE: Overlapping interests
People expect me to be into tech, and I am really lol. Art is probably the main thing I enjoy that could be considered common and relevant. There's also an amazing girl that has my interest, but people don't expect that.

Like it's fine for them to play Angry Birds, but spend a couple of hundred hours on Skyrim and you're not cool. Man.

Yeah, and if we get 10th prestige in a CoD game, they're like :"OMG, you, like, plaaaay too much!"

I just realised that a lot of people think that you're somewhat good at math if you're a "nerd".

This usually puts me in an awkward position since I have something like dyslexia, except it's for numbers.

RE: Overlapping interests
What do you want? Humans spend their lives making assumptions, whether they are right or wrong. As soon as you see something you judge it, and based on that judgement you assume things. Some keep it private, others speak it out.

Those that speak it out might strike you as annoying, I know cause I've been there. But also keep in mind these people are most of the time ignorant on certain things. So you can either take it cool and correct them, or you can flip out and give them the finger.

Just prove to them who is the better person.

It's not a big deal at all, it's just sometimes a bit of an irritant. It's easily put right by saying "no, actually I'm not that into (whatever)".

A few of my friends have that. They just refer to it as Maths Dyslexia.

I have that myself. I call it being really bad at maths.
