I don't know how anyone could hate Reggie, I mean I couldn't imagine Bill Gates coming out to the Launch of the new Xbox, also I have a feeling that Reggie did this out of his own free will, I don't think it's a publicity stunt or anything, just a nice surprise for Early Wii U owners.

Also, tomorrow officially starts the 8th gen.

Well seeing as acronyms are more often than not just the initials of the name, I suggest NNID

RE: Wii-U
Yes I have the update, I got Asncreed3, blops2, NSMBU,Scribblenauts and nintendo land.

Loving them all but Asncreed, little underwhelmed
Loving the console, Miiverse is an awesome blend between a gameforum and twitter. Nintendo servers are solid gold, CoD on nintendo network runs better then any other console yet, with [undefined=undefined]NO[/undefined] hit detection lag compensation!!!!!!!!!!! <---- my biggest cod issue. Literally not one raged false miss headshot or something. Butter smooth internet. Internetbrowser is sick and you dont dread using it like other consoles..idk in love with everything. gamepad WAY better then expected. Ive been playing non-stop, totally in love. Only downsides are bad battery life in gamepad (possible future upgrades, panel with screws in back over battery) and slow menu and app load times (also possible future upgrade with patches) otherwise totally in love. Nintendo finally has better ways of being conservative losers. like there cod fix was setting voice chat to default off....so when you load multiplayer it warns you and gives you the option to turn it on, sort of like cods offensive content warning at the beginning you switch it on and it warns you...that the ONLY conservative nintendo jab i noticed. Aside from miiverse censorship but ive seen "DAMN!" get by clean on a kiddie game.

Edit: Cody you said "you two" who else got a WiiU? please add Skarro! and give me yours! (if you havent met someone or find them through miiverse you do both have to add eachothers names, so thats another shitty conservative nintendo Jab, only a tad frustrating though...at least i think thats the case...that or my buddy said "yeah yeah ill add you tonight" and totally lied haha.

Wow, impressive line-up. What did you dislike about AC3 on the WiiU? I was originally planning on buying the WiiU version but a friend of mine bought the PS3 one and I'm considering just borrowing his later on.

Nothing is wrong with the WiiU copy, the game itself is underwhelming so far. WiiU copy is slightly better if anything due to gamepad features and better lighting/less blur

RE: Wii-U
I haven't got it, and I won't until January. Nice to see you're enjoying it though. The ZombiU reviews and playthroughs I've been watching on YouTube have secured me holding off buying one. Ubisoft failing to deliver a promise again and having a WiiU with just NintendoLand seems extremely dull. America is BETA testing for the rest of the world.

RE: Wii-U
Nintendo land is actually extremely fun, much more fun then it looks. Especially with miiverse integration (so you can post screenshots of your highscores, time trails etc... and unlockables add something to it as well.

Also my buddy says ZombiU is amazing, he said people were expecting fast actiony cod zombies. It's the fact the movement and aiming is slowed down that is really getting to people. If you walk in wanting a Resedent Evil influenced experience with panicky anxiety driven difficult gameplay then you will love it.

Yes I am loving it, the only downside is the console must be hard to port to because even though CoD and junk is amazing, some games like Darksiders for example are actually worse. (Farther draw distance, but less items in the background itself and worse load times.) Though I'm sure that was do to a rushed, partial access launch... infact 2 months before Epic mickey 2 was announced the creator said "Sorry this will not be for Wii-U, we weren't approached by Nintendo and it is much too late now" Then it was a lauch game!!!

Yeah NintendoLand is fun. When I meant dull, I should've said "fun for a while". After the first month or two, do you see yourself going back to it? It's like Wii Sports. Great fun to play with your friends but it's not going to last. You need a game you can play seriously for yourself. If you don't have another console then you have Assassins Creed, Darksiders 2 and Blops 2. Miiverse is a nice though. Is sending messages a problem on the WiiU? The Wii made sending messages pointless because you had to save the game and quit to the Wii menu but can you send messages while playing a game on the WiiU? Also, is there voice chat while playing two different games with friends?
