Tried so hard to get into it, heard it's great. Im just such a baby when it comes to abstract controls. TP wouldnt be on my list if it was a wii only game. Confused
1) Minish Cap
2) Legend of Zelda
3) Phantom Hourglass

And these are the only ones I played :3
never played any of them since it wasnt really popular in the country i lived in,but really want to play nowadays, what do you people recommend the most?

Start with Ocarina of Time. It's classic and always a good place to start.
A link to the past
OOT and MM

I expected a lot more with WW, and after playing TP I got a little dissapointed but at the same time i was amazed with a "real zelda"... too bad they used a lot of bloom , they could make a great final game for the game cube era
Hmmm....

I would say it's a tie between 'Adventure of Link' and 'Link to the Past'.
OoT is the best in my opinion with MM to a close second, the thing that keeps MM from #1 for me is the really short main story and the music is less imo.

Windwaker and skyward sword take #3 for being loads of fun.

will do,thanks!
Majora's Mask.

Link to the past in second place.
It may be cause those 2 were the ones I played when I was little, and by played I mean the first 2 zelda games that really got me into them
Minish Cap, Link's Awakening, and Link to the Past. For some reason, it just caught my attention more in those games than the others. I'll admit, Wind Waker wasn't that bad though.
for me its hard to see past OOT.the first one i played and it was awesome, i probably know my way around that interpretation of hyrule better than where i live now. and the best part is with the 3ds version it plays like a i remember it... ie the graphics arent dated.

if i was to exclude oot i would actually saying minish cap. loved MM and TP but minish cap was one of the few gba games that i couldnt put down and really got me hooked.
My favorite Zelda game is Windwaker.
It was a beautiful take on the Zelda Universe and I still pick it up from time to time and just explore the different islands.
However, a little while ago I was playing OOT...and it was fun.

...But I have got to find me a copy of MM...that is the game I really wanted as a kid. o.o
Gonna have to go with Ocarina of Time. I know it's the typical answer, but it really is the most advanced and well put-together Zelda game of its time.
I Would have to say ALTTP, its the one that set me on my love of Zelda and continuall revisiting of the Zelda Games.

Currently playing TP on the Wii and as frustrating as the controls(and the battery life) can be at times, the game play is really encouraging i have done 11 hours on it in the last 3 days without even feeling like i have been on it for more than half an hour. its also the one the above guys have referenced with the greatest variance on weapons. If i were to critique it i would have to say the music does not live up to ALTTP.

Last Zelda game before that, that i completed(ish) was WindWaker and the game !as with all Zelda games, i found myself immersed in the gameplay always wanting more. The one thing about the game was the simple fact when it came to collecting all the map peices it made me want to give up and nearly took away my drive to complete it. Lucky i had the determination to go back and finish off what i started.

All in all Zelda is one of the most complete games i have played it is really up there with the all time great games alongside, Final Fantasy(VII in particular), Bomberman, Maniac Mansion(not everyones favorites), Mario(the good ones :0), Resident Evil, I could go on. :-)
