It is, it's just the assholes who make online matches terrible. Like the people who play as Bayonetta. She's a broken overpowered bitch.

I know how that is because I do the same thing (of course, I mainly play shooters online... so yeah). Guilty as charged.
But I do it to vent and I am never serious about what I say. Because it's just an online game and I'm there for fun. Unless you spawn kill... then I'm serious because that's a cheap thing to do.
Also, the people who take the team matches too seriously. It's not part of the rank matches, just a regular game. No reason to swear and get mad when someone catches you off guard.

Well, shooters aren't my thing, so I can't really say much to that. However, when someone actually yells over there mic and insults someone for simply catching them off guard, it ruins the fun. I go into these online matches just for a few fights, not to surf in a verbal tidal wave of insults.

Well it's a fighting game so I guess go with browsing AR specialist forums to learn the animation/frame data, watching combo videos, practicing/creating your own combos, learn what set ups to use, what to do in certain situation, learn the match-ups, use spacing with the arena, baiting and ....anything else that falls with that character such as poking or grappling(Oinkie have some good grapples).
Boodendorf has some good videos(been subbed to 'em for a while). This video is good for learning how to beat defensive players and what to do on the opponents escape tactics.
This means learning Oinkie and then learning Bayonetta since she's your problem. No idea where Oinkie is on the tier list but I know his damage output is one of the best(but obviously his speed is sacrificed). I'd recommend learning Bayonettas recovery and basic combos to see what's punishable. You may have to pick up Bayonetta yourself and use combos with her in training room and see what you can punish with in return on hit and on block.

Yea, I'm not gonna do any of that. For one thing, 1v1 match-up are terrible in this game anyway. For another thing, I'm not interested in this crap. Again, I play for fun, not all that crap, which is why I do regular player matches. If I actually gave a damn about being the best in the game, I wouldn't be complaining like this, since (I hope) none of the "serious" players are assholes like this.

Not everyone is like that, but you have to realise that if it's a team based game(or mode) then you also have to pull your own weight around. Also, if you don't take that stuff on board then you're only going to stay where you are and never overcome Bayonetta. Learning how to beat cheap tactics or get around certain parts of characters is rewarding AND it's awesome to pummel those people. For those that ARE arsehole, then I guess tell 'em to eff off.

It's been a "science" since Street Fighter one. Other games also have this level of indepth mechanics that takes a long time to master like Resident Evil: Mercenaries or Devil May Cry. Animation/Frame data etc
I've been playing a bit of Assassin's Creed 3 and I must say I am thoroughly disappointed. I hate to say it, but it's just awful.
I have around 3 or 4 hours into it and the Connor character hasn't even been introduced yet. All of those cool things that Ubisoft advertised, like the bow, tomahawk, and naval battles, also haven't been introduced yet, I feel like I've been lied to.
The missions so far have also been boring and very limiting, I feel like my hand is being held the entire time. The pause menu is simply a mess, rather than sticking with simple words on the screen they went with symbols. I have almost no problem with this, except the symbols suck.
It's like if I had a cake. I paid $60 for this cake. It has a (supposedly) delicious, chocolate flavor. Except it has a thin layer of shit, instead of fondant.
