Roxio is probably your best best. I can't be bothered to spend much on Capture Cards either but after 6 years on TouYube, may as well get one. They're cheap (around £70 - €80) and probably cheaper now since they released the HD version.
It's a 480p capture card than you can upscale to 720p (and 1080p) though it's not not true 1080p, but 720p is a decent quality.
Example of my video (720p at 60FPS).
Tekken being an amazing 1080p (though this is Xbox so 720p) but still looks very nice.
However this capture card only takes component cables. Fortunately you can buy component cables from eBay for €2 (£2) for the Wii and PS3 (You should really get component cables for the Wii anyway). PS3 it downgrades the quality from HDMI but it at least you can capture that console too. It's perfect for Xbox since it's a 720p console going for 1080p is just foolish(like so many YouTubers who make CoD videos *shudders*).
Here's my capture card (another bonus) is that it comes with it's own editing software. Not Sony Vegas, sure, but has a lot of editing and does allow you to be creative than software like Windows Movie Maker.
I'm playing through Ocarina of Time again as I usually do this time of the year and I just got to the water temple. I don't know if I'm alone with this but every time I start playing through it I get this huge feeling of dread, like fear of getting stuck again like I used to when I was a kid even though I can breeze through it in a sec and I know every room like the palm of my hand XD

Don't feel bad - I'm playing through for the first time and got stuck in a room in the Mojo Tree for 15 minutes
Guys I don't get it, why do Russian's occupy every community server on Valve games? Even old ones like Counter Strike 1.6 and Half Life?
I've recently got back into L4D2's community 22 man expert servers, and every single one of the servers are occupied by about 12 Russians.
They also have a handful of terrible players, in one server, there is a "keyman" who opens the Safehouse door so we can complete the level. We were all at the door, and the keyman wouldn't open the door, and started laughing, all the others did as well including the admin. When he finally did open the door we were ransacked by Spitters and Hunters who can down you in one hit, we then failed and had to start from the beginning.
I've only played a demo of a game at a store called Best-Buy. It was really fun. I played Rayman Legends and it was a lot of fun. I think Nintendo has introduced a nice idea here and if they use it correctly it will be lots of fun.

Back then in '98 I found it to be a pain....but when I went back to it in OoT:3D I did it in once sittings. It's really not so hard anyway if you keep track of where you are.
So I just paid off my preorder of Anarchy Reigns. So, on release day, I can just walk into the store, grab my game, then head home. Now, just to wait for the next week and a half.
I have also downloaded Okami HD, mainly because my PS2 is now gone, as well as the games. And I am so glad they didn't change anything.
Also, I downloaded Journey. While the game is a bit odd, for some reason, I am compelled to keep playing it. I have to say, the game looks absolutely beautiful.
