Thanks. That actually made my entire day, and it's only 8:30am.

Bear in mind, this is still a work-in-progress, but please, critique it all you like. All comments are welcome. Even comments saying I suck at writing, which I do. The only reason I'm even writing the book is to finally prove to myself I can fully complete at least one life goal.

"...And I ran, desperately trying to distance myself from those creatures. Those things. But, no matter how fast I ran, I could still hear their screams right behind me, still feel their breath rolling down my spine.
My common sense fogged by my fear, I darted into an alley, thinking I could lose them. Surveying the area as quickly as I could, I saw a dark blue dumpster, its side ruined by rust.
Hearing those creatures coming closer, I jumped in. Not the best idea I've ever had, but certainly up on the top ten list. The smell was absolutely horrendous, like an old refrigerator that was full of 2 week old food had been left out in the hot summer sun. The smell was so bad, my eyes were stinging with tears, and my throat was seizing up, trying to prevent me from breathing in the noxious fumes.
Just when I thought I would choke on this toxic gas, the dumpster opened once more, and I was puled out by my shirt collar..."

So, yea...not the best thing anyone's ever read, and hopefully not the worst. Again, any comment is welcome.

And with that....I wanna read more (AKA very nice work friendo).

Post some of it on a word press site, it's free and easy to do. I'd love to see more of it.

Hello, this is my evil side who wants to promote, shamelessly..

If you are interested in more pictures, you can find them here.

What is Dakija?

Short explanation: Dakija is a browser based fantasy RPG game with a turn-based combat. You got to choose your hero and develop his abilities, skills, spells the way YOU want. Fighter, Magician (Archer or Monk) – it’s up to you what you want to become. Will you be the hero that legends talk about? Will you be the hero who brings back the piece to this planet, called Dakija? We will see! Currently there are 200+ skills to choose from that can be reached by adding points into balancers every level. Also 100+ spells for spellcasters! Not only offensive spells, but many buffs and curses for more tactical choices. For building your hero you have wide variety of equipments to choose from: 400+ weapons and 200+ armors of different types!

Story Explanation: You should have born in the lands with great history and achievements. The land of superior technology and evolved higher conscious beings. However… the evil has hidden deep in the undergrounds and decided to destroy this planet! The enormous explosion in the volcano lying beneath the ground changed the picture of the planet. Disaster, as a word, was too small to describe the situation. Chaos, confusion and pure evil creatures had spread in the world… You are the one, with an ancient power within. You are here to end this chaos! Unleash the powers within you by gaining knowledge about yourself and once and for all – destroy evil!

What the game will be like?

• Equal to everybody. You don't have to buy premium stuff to be the best!
• Simple game at the start, but goes deeper and deeper when you’re playing.
• Turn-based combat with many tactical choices and a field to do so!
• Control more than one character in battle field for more tactical choices.
• Different mercenaries and NPCs will fight together with you. Choose a perfect team for the best synergies!
• Lots of choices for building your hero.
• Lots of items to choose from. No to one-best-way-build.
• Multi-way to completing quests, challenging and different ones!
• Game with a deeper value, the knowledge from never dying truth from the books.
• Game is not limited to only fighting and doing quests!
• Never ending development so you can play and play and.. play!

What makes Dakija unique?

My experience in many different games, my fantasy, my passion for RPGs. I bet you think that there are lot of like me? Would you drop everything just to reach your dream? Or do all it takes to reach your dream? I bet not many can do that, but I want it bad! I will be the game creator and my game will be brilliant! A non-stop evolving epic RPG browser game with a turn-based combat!
Furthermore, if I like playing my game with never-stopping-need for gaining more, why others shouldn’t like this game? I think you will, especially if you like turn-based combat, lots of different ways to build your hero and challenging quests!

What do I’m asking?

As a solo (indie) developer I’m seeking community’s help to make this development process faster and better. If project gets funded – designer and writer joins development for even greater RPG experience for you! It’s a game made by gamer for gamers!

Hello there!

I made a thread recently on the ''help me!'' forum about my twitter account in wich I give daily strange Mario facts! I have some difficulties being known on Twitter. But if you like DYKG or Mario, I'm pretty sure you will like to follow me! https://twitter.com/Mario_Trivia

You just have to change Steam to Portuguese Brazilian and then you'll be seeing our hard, passionate, and unsalaried (it's voluntary, unfortunately) work. We translate Steam and Valve's games, as well as Super Monday Night Combat (the latter is likely 0% done, though). We have Team Fortress 2 finished, and are working hard on both Portals, Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

While we make a quite nice job in translating those games, it's saddening that most Brazilians still prefer to play in English, or even in Portugal's portuguese, which is very different.

Good work bro. I'am too Portuguese and I think you're doing is cool, I would love to help out but I'm crazy busy all the time.
I'm streaming for...like...the first time ever, and I'm curious if someone could critique me. http://www.twitch.tv/gamingevolved

I'm part of a group of gamer's, that are experimenting with live streaming. I'll be streaming at 8:00pm Eastern Standard time. Meow :3
My signature, have you clicked on it yet?

The fastest way to get informed what is it about is to check the trailer at http://www.factorio.com.
I'm thankful for any comments.
Hey guys! I just wanted to inform you that I wrote a gaming related book ^_^

Gamers Vs. Zombies-100% True Fictional Story

Synopsis (what the book is about):

Ian Jones, a 19-year-old gamer from a small town of Arlington Heights, Illinois comes in possession of a weird zombie video game which grants him a job as a full-time game tester/developer. There he meets five other colleagues (including one girl), and they all get introduced with a breathtakingly innovative technology-sensory operated gaming platform.
Suddenly, a mysterious and legendary character from the gaming world appears, and at that point it becomes clear that the zombie game is a bit more than just a video game...

For a free 11000 word sample (about 15 % of the book) and any additional information, please check out my Facebook page and if possible like it cause I am trying to get the word out there ^_^

Wrong section, bro.

In fact you need to post this here:

NINJA MOD EDIT - Done, thanks.

NON-NINJA Feedback incoming:

-Your commentary is dry and uninteresting that's mostly because you haven't play the game any before hitting record and trying to do live commentary.

-At 2:30 you're reading the screen and wasting time; a screen that I can easily read on my own. (And you continue to throughout the video)

-In conjunction with my first point, you spend most of the first half trying to learn how to play. (Which is going to turn off people who have already played FTL, and potential newcomers because your commentary has nothing to offer.)

All in all I don't think I'll being sticking around for part 2, since I could even finish part 1.
