That song was really neat. There is something that bothers me, though, I can't put my finger on it..
Haha, alright. Thanks tho! : )

I think this will be the same as many people here, but I gota youtube channel where I upload LPs to it and I'm trying to get more viewers so I can maintain some contact with them to be more interactive.
the link to my channel is in my signature, so go have a look there, maybe you'll find something you might enjoy.
Lots of people plug their shows here. I guess I can too.
Back in 2010 I produced a 21 episode (only 18 were shown) run of a show called
GMO2 on this really shoestring budget. Made it for a joint-venture website project with a friend of mine but it didn't pan out. We had some spurts of notoriety, some drama, etc. Hard to get an audience. We were all set to continue into 2011 but our funding source dropped us and shut down.
Series recently got picked up again now that I am performing shows at conventions and stuff again, so I am excited. Still a crap budget, a little less than $1,000, but I'd like to imagine I can make something better out of it this time around. Better equipment, better computer, (Papa Johns), etc. New location, new set. It should go over well. I've spent the past few weeks doing graphic design work for the project so it has its own fluid and non-obtrusive presentation. It'll look a LOT better than its 2010 episodes.
I don't have a premiere date for the 2012 season. All I'm waiting on right now is the title track to be completed and recorded. Our first game is going to be
Monster Truck Madness 64.
I figure the new version of the show might be more relevant to this community though, since we're doing this twist where we show trivia and facts about the game and context of the commentary. Should be cool. Can't say much else at the moment, NDA.
More about the show is here, though:

edit: When things are closer to completion I'd like to post a thread about the series if the admins are cool with that. A tremendous amount of work goes into the production of the series. Most of it you don't see on camera, unfortunately. XD
Here, I'll plug my own stuff again.
In 2011, after I was laid off from my job, I wrote a book. Or rather, I finished a book I had started. It's a book about bad video games* and kind of recaps a decade+ of previous experiences with video games and things I've written about or covered in the past.
It is called
Nintendon't: 25 of the Worst Video Games Ever, and it is available through Amazon for a measly five bucks:
http://www.amazon.com/Nintendont-Worst-V...tendon%27t
I actually sell about a dozen or so of them every month, which is great. In about 4 months' time I made $120 selling copies. Not much, but that's $120 I didn't have.
*It's really an opinion piece so your mileage/agreements may vary. I included Sonic and Pokemon titles in the list, some of which are games people consider "untouchable".
I'm currently the St. Louis Video Game Console Examiner, and while technically I write for the St. Louis area, my video game news and reviews cover the entire country (I have to be "localized"). I encourage everyone to take a look and bookmark the page, as I update with important articles daily.
St. Louis Video Game Console Examiner
Keep in mind that I don't report every bit of news like Joystiq or GameInformer, but typically I cover the more important bits of news.
I've been writing for them since 2009, and have plenty of old school game reviews and current news mixed together. Lately the page has been blowing up, so I'm doing something right.
Thanks in advance to everyone that shows up!
