Your favorite BEAUTIFUL game

Now the term beautiful can be taken in so many ways but I want to know what game was your favorite that had a specific art style, whether it be characters or background or music.

Mine is The Dig
Not only was the music and cutscenes done in such a manner that is just blew all other PC games out of the water but the backgrounds that you saw were so stunning.

I will try to find some photos that help express my love for this game.

Without hesitation: Bastion.

The scenery builds up your feet as you move with an incredible art design. The songs are simply amazing and that narrator just keeps you playing until you finish it.

I still giggle whenever I remember him saying "...Scumbags" with that soft voice.

I just wished I could play the FF games for the consoles (after SNES). But I don't have a PS and I can't emulate on my laptop =/
The visuals just seemed really amazing for me.

I always considered Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King to be extremely gorgeous

I love how Battlefield Bad Company 2 looks, the art style is simply beautiful.
Then again, I also think Minecraft and a bunch of old school games look beautiful.

I don't think anyone here plays games FOR the graphics, just liked the way the games looked while still enjoying the game

Full Throttle. Egad, that looked cool the whole way through.

I did enjoy Full Throttle but The Dig was just so BEAUTIFUL.
Hell the game is on Steam and if you are a fan of point and click adventure games with puzzles then I would HIGHLY recommend this game. It is beautiful, the story is amazing, the graphics were so breath taking for its time and the music helps set the mood for every room and cutscene.

The thing about The Dig, though, is that it didn't make much sense. In terms of the puzzles and that.

One of the games I thought was insanely beautiful was Just Cause 2. Everything looked good in that game.
