EA often gets attacked for their greedy practices. Remember how the 3DO launched at 699.99? You have a former EA executive to thank for that.

Trip Hawkins, one of the founders of Electronic Arts left to form 3DO and after it crashed sold off most of the intellectual properties to Ubisoft.

No wonder Ghost Recon felt like Army Men at times!
