Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I want to play some games on it, but, it's a laptop so I dunno if it will be good enough. I looked at the minimum req. for games that I'd like to play and it looks fine. But I just wanna confirm this with you guys.

HP 15.6" Laptop

Native Screen Resolution: 1366 x 768

Processor Type: Intel Core i7-3610QM, Quad Core, 2.30ghz

Hard Drive Capacity: 1TB, 5400rpm hard drive speed

8GB of ram, ram type DDR3 SDRAM, two ram slots

Graphics Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M

Dedicated Video Memory Size: 2048 MB DDR3

The screen resolution's a bit naff but that looks perfectly fine to do some good gaming Cool

The screens resolution's might mess up a lot of games. It looks really weird.

What Nuud' and Seriously said. The screen resolution is awkward as heck, but if it has a VGA port then you could easily hook it up to a monitor for better resolution. Looks fine for gaming though!

Awesome. So how bad is the screen resolution? Like how awkward does it look. Could I get past it(Like get used to it, or will it be a big problem)?

I have this res, and it's fine to me, I have other bigger ones, but it looks fine for the games I play.

Nothing is wrong with it, it's just an odd resolution choice.

Megav365, it should be fine for most things - If it isn't, just get a bog-standard external monitor. They're very cheap nowadays.

Megav365, it should be fine for most things - If it isn't, just get a bog-standard external monitor. They're very cheap nowadays.

It's especially funny because after using the new laptop the screen looks amazing and not bad at all. Works on TF2, Blacklight: Retribution had some troubles due to graphics card drivers but don't think that has much to do with screen resolution. Only problem I ever had with it is playing Minecraft, large and normal GUI is the same. which is a little weird Confused

Sorry for late reply but here ya go-- playing Minecraft with large or normal GUI is the exact same. They both look like normal. Little weird, I'd rather have them be different from each other.
