RE: Relationships.
I'm single, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I'm not looking for one either, as I'm very private and idk how (or if I could) handle losing some of that privacy

But in the future, I'll definitely try to find "the one." She better like video games >.>

Trust me, when you find the right guy/girl, you won't think about your free time and privacy Sleepy

I'm with you man. I value my privacy, and I don't think any girl could make me want to "share our lives". If there's a lady who wants to be her own person and NOT half of a couple...then I'm in. But I wouldn't even want to share a room...if I was rich enough then seperate buildings.

RE: Relationships.
I'm thinking about asking a girl out if I manage to see her again before summer classes end (which is tomorrow Sad).
Does anybody know any restaurants that cater to vegans?

If your taking a madam out it's best to already have a restaurant already planned. Look at your local restaurants (via phone or website), see if they have a vegan option(vegans...) and then take her there. Direct plan with the food you want.

......vegans.

I'm sorry if this is very cynical... but asking for love advice from a forum is probably a bad idea.

RE: Relationships.
update: things with my ex are going fantastically well. we're not "together" yet, even though we act like it. we're talking and spending time together and it's just like old times. a little bit longer and we'll be "OFFICIAL"

apparently we're taking so much time because he needs some time in between him and her and us, so he doesn't hurt her too much, and also to get used to us being apart for such a long time. i also think to give my parents time to get used to him being back in my life, because they don't know atm. they hate him because of how i acted after we broke up and can't seem to let it go Tongue

but, i'm so happy sdflgjasdklfjgskldfjhksldfh <3

RE: Relationships.
I'm currently single and have been that way for about 7 years now. Of course, that shouldn't matter, because that means the last time I had a girlfriend was when I was 15. I'm not really looking either, but if she does end up popping up randomly, I would like that.

But the last relationship I had ended horribly. And when I say horribly, I mean horribly.

What ended up making that relationship end was her lying straight to my face. I believed it, then had about 3-4 of my other friends tell me the truth. I ended up buying her a fake ring for christmas. At that point, we would've been together for about 2 months. She said she liked it and wore it. Well, it ended up turning her finger green, so she threw it out the window. Mind you, she never told me this, but said she wasn't wearing it for some reason (I don't remember those exact details, it's irrelevant anyways). So, I was like "alright." and continued on. Apparently she ended up telling some of my other friends exactly why she wasn't wearing it and they came and told me. I went to her place, tried getting the ring back (never did) and ended up breaking it off.

What made it worse was how she ended up dating someone shortly after me and used them for sex. Yeah, that's right. I could've been used for sex. That's disgusting.

I saw her a few years later, never talked to her, but she was fat. Excuse my language, but she must've gained about twice her previous weight. I couldn't even stand looking at her. And then probably a couple of years ago, I caught that she was on Facebook. I started talking to her and tried to apologize for the way I acted and she ended up starting an argument over it and then lied to me some more. I ended up ignoring her on facebook from that point. I don't want anything to do with her.

So, yeah, that's where I've been at. Has it made me sad that I haven't had a girlfriend in so many years? Absolutely not. The best part about it, was watching family and friends go through relationships. My sister went through some terrible guys and ended up finding probably the perfect guy for her. They dated for about 4 years before getting married and have been married for 3 years. And they have a kid who's only about 5 months old (will be 5 months old this month).

I watched one of my best friends go through a couple of crappy girls. One of those girls is actually a friend, but it never worked out with them. I think they're still friends. Who knows. But the girl he is with now, I have never seen him so happy with someone. They've been dating for almost 2 years now and I can see them going on for a while. The best part about her though, is she likes A LOT of the things he does. And yes, that even means video games!

And now I'm just ranting on.... I'll go now.

@A Zombie Riot
I know the feeling of being lied to. Those people aren't worth the time though. Anyone who treats you like crap first time, or keep coming back and forth, or lie, not worth it.

Just waiting for that right one eh.

RE: Relationships.
I am missing something I think because from that story by zombie, he says his ex threw a fake ring out her window due to it turning her finger green and then when he went to get it he broke up with her?

Please tell me if I am missing something, I did just wake up mind you, so I do not want to say anything until I get the facts straight.

Cinna I am happy that you and your ex are "almost official again" and want to wish you both the best of luck but please be careful and try not to get hurt again.

TheDevl, congrats on dating a girl most men would love to date. Well except me but that is because I already dated an Asain girl in college and that was fun and all but ehh it got old quickly and nothing wrong with her mind you but I guess I was really indecisive a few years ago between her and one of my other ex gfs that I had been dating off and on for a year or two.

It's funny how things change in only a year or two.
