Personally I think homemade stuff is a bit lame, but I might just be a bit of a grumpypants. Depends on the girl, I guess. It's hard to say without knowing her, which you do and we don't. Go with your gut.

Well we aren't dating or anything and I know that these gifts should come from the heart (as in money value is not necessarily the main thing to look for) but I mean I just hope that she doesn't think of me as a cheap-o or anything like that..

I wouldn't worry too much about it being "from the heart", just make sure it's something she'll really like.

If you reckon she'd like it then yeah, but still, I gotta say... sounds cheapo to me. But then you're not trying to shag me (YET), so go with what you reckon she'd think of it.

From the heart is always a good thing. A cheapo to me s a guy that takes me out to dinner and doesn't tip well. It has nothing to do with the gifts he gets. Girls always know if a gift is from the heart, or if it was specifically bought/made because it was cheap.

I had an ex that went to Singapore a lot, and would bring me back the shittiest of gifts. I knew he was only getting me things because he felt he HAD to, so he went with the cheapest possible stuff, stuff he knew I would never wear. But I couldn't complain because he DID get me something. Does that make any sense?

Anyway, from the way you're talking, I think she'll know it's a gift from the heart. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. You sound a lot nicer than my ex! Heart

All-in-all, go with your gut as Beardy says.

And by homemade I do not mean it was made by me but by one of my moms friends who has been beading for quite a long time.
