I can try it but like my Minecraft knowledge is really bad so maybe that can be funny to watch me flail around not doing anything but chopping wood and mining sand.

Wait how do you connect to each other? My friends and I use Hamachi.

I don't like Hamachi, it gave me a bunch of viruses and BS anti spyware programs that took a few days to get rid of.

So how do we go about doing it?
The traditional way of setting up a server and us joining a host?

I can try and set one up for us. I've honestly never heard of anyone getting a virus though Hamachi because it's an "online-lan" service rather than downloading software. Setting it up the normal way is looong.

I usually just use the default Server setup, that being using the minecraft_server.jar and launching dat sheet with 2 gb RAM. The connection is usually great for everyone, once in a while we get a lagg spike but that's about it. I've hosted with up to 8 at a time before and it didn't really slow down, so I wouldn't be too concerned lagg-wise. As for international-lagg, two of my friends are from Australia who play on the server and it works fine for them, so we should be good if you want me to host or somethin'.
Also, experience wise, I've been playing since Alpha, so I'm pretty much set ^_^, and would we be structuring this as a pure Survival LP or a modded one or what?

If you guys want we could get a skype call or use Vent/TS3 or whatever and we can try to communicate through that to get this set up properly.

That's cool. I'll join. Been playing since Beta(2010). How are you going to send the IP address? PM(to be safe)? I've been trying to set my own server up. It's up...but it's weird....D:

I am unfamiliar with mods in Minecraft so people will need to help me with them but I am still down for some Minecraft, maybe I can actually be helpful.

Yeah, I think we should communicate with TeamSpeak 3 and connect to eachother with Hamachi.
