I've recently gotten into Photography through a class at school. These were the ten of the best shots I took. I have some more, but I'll leave it up to you guys if you wanna see them.

I like em'. Your photography style is pretty good.

Equinox · 07-04-2012 03:36 PM

Thanks, haha. I have a few shopped ones too because we had to photoshop a lot for projects. A lot of black and white ones.

Take more photos of kittens, make a montage with those and put it on youtube. you'll win millions.

Funny story, I took about thirty photos in one session of that cat.

This is my car. I didn't take this one, my sister did, but the reflection is wicked cool.

This was just a random picture I took of our ceiling fan. I thought it turned out pretty nice.

Pretty damn good!

Today's set isn't as good as the rest in my opinion. I hadn't shot any in a while so this is all from one shoot.

Keep it up dude!

After I posted these, I decided to go to the park to take some photos. Lord am I in a slump. I need to find someplace completely new to take photos.

agentkuo · 08-23-2012 01:50 PM

I don't get any of this. I don't understand what sort of message you're trying to convey with your photography (if any), to me it just looks like, for the most part, stuff shot close up, and like there isn't any more depth to it than that. That's just the impression I got. For me, at least in the case of discussing photography for the sake of discussing photography, I like photographs to tell stories or have meanings. Cool and interesting shots (especially forced perspective) can be really great and enjoyable, but I don't really see any meaning to them beyond that (looking cool). The only one I really like is the corn. Maybe it just reminds me of this really cool picture I have (that I can't post because it has nudity), or maybe I just like the color contrast.

That's my 2¢.

But I do have questions:
-What type of camera do you use?

-Where was the Lincoln statue photographed? (If that's not Lincoln, my bad)

I'd like to get a camera and delve into photography myself. I find it really interesting.

Sohakmet · 08-23-2012 11:55 PM

Aw yeah... nice rocks.

Well, I guess I don't take it for any sort of reason. It's all just stuff that I think looks good the way that I take it.

I have an older model of a Sony digital camera, not sure which model. That statue is at the Chicago Art Institute. And yes it is Lincoln. May I ask why you wanted to know?

@Sohakmet: Yeah, they're pretty boss.
