RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
I have to do my top three:

1. Wind Waker- My first Zelda and it still holds a special place in my heart.

2. Skyward Sword- What can I say, the game was brilliant.

3. Link to the Past- I played the crap out of that game on my GBA. I've played through more times than I can remember.

My top three are:

1. Majora's Mask

2. Phantom Hourglass

3. Minish Cap
I really do not care for Ocarina of Time at all and A Link to the Past is okay but only because the soundtrack is amazing.

Definitely Orcarina of Time on N64. I will replay that over and over.

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
Ocarina of Time (64) and A Link to the Past

Also, The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II because they were my first experience. We used to play those all the time at my grandpas house and they hold a lot of nostalgia/sentimental value.

I'm really starting to get into Majoras Mask, and after seeing all the posts about it on here, i've decided that's the first thing i'm going to do when I get my house next month.

Good call on that!!

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
I haven't been able to play (as in play through-out the entire game) any of the post-64 Zeldas due to the fact that I don't own or even plan on getting another console. However, from the ones I've played:

1. Majora's Mask.
Quote:Plus the soundtrack... I still listen to that soundtrack.
I still own the soundtrack CDs.

2. Minish Cap.

3. Oracle of Ages.

Minish Cap here.

I think it's time we got out of this hipster routine of saying MM is better and the best of OOT because everyone is saying, and just agree with our hipster opinions that Minish Cap is the best handheld Zelda.

It doesn't get the love it deserves.

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
A Link To The Past: That game had a great feel for the ancient times of Hyrule. I always get a good feel when I play this game and I think it truly deserves a remake in TP/SS graphics.

However...

Majora's Mask was the best Zelda game by far. The game had such intense emotion for every single character. You couldn't meet a single person without wanting to know everything about them. From the simple life of the Postman to the love story of Anju and Kafei the game outdid the Zelda series. My favorite moment(s) of Majora's Mask has to do with any cutscene regarding the Song of Healing. Truly a masterpiece and I doubt I'll ever see another game up to par with Majora's Mask. I'd love to see a remake of this game as well, a mix of MM and TP graphics would be sweet!

I also still own the original soundtrack Smile

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
Skyward Sword is hardly a game. Nearly everything about it was predictable and the things that were not were only unpredictable because I couldn't believe Nintendo would actually do such stupid shit. Fighting the same tedious, horribly designed and visually boring boss 3 times with only the slightest of variance is inexcusable to me in this day and age, especially considering this is Zelda - a franchise which, 20 years ago, was still recognizable for clever bosses that were not only ball bustingly difficult but also unique in appearance. The item selection was also insulting and uninspired - as was the scenery, god damn. Dousing was also terrible. It could have worked, in moderation, for finding optional items... but not for finding everything. I had never really felt like my money had been truly wasted until SS.

Link To The Past and Link's awakening are my favorites. Link's awakening told a charming story with little dialogue and fantastic music. Modern Zeldas, especially Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, could take a cue from that number one rule - Show, don't tell.

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
My TOP 3 is.:

3.: Minish Cap - I was happy to play it from beginning to end, see Zelda reborn and we remember that we have also good Zelda on the GBA.

2.:Majora's Mask.: When I first started playing I thought Majora tense, I was afraid the seller of masks and had nightmares with Majora (true story bro) TT It's the game without being creepy horror, it all, the chiefs, the secrets, the Moon is tense.

1.:The Link of The Past - Genius, genius, genius, Three Dungeons plus Eight HOHOHO \o/ It's very beautiful and greats songs. I have this cartridge if a manual and original box, The treasure of my life =D

I Like Opening of the Twilight Princess but is very short game ._.

there are things that I like about twilight princess! When it first came out I actually really enjoyed it - unlike Skyward Sword. I think some of the dungeons of TP are really interesting visually and in layout, and it has some pretty cool bosses. And as far as realistic Zelda goes, I think its fairly interesting visually.

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
My favorite all time Zelda game has to be A Link to the Past. I love everything about the game, the levels, the puzzles, the pacing, the overall story. It's just about as perfect of a game as you can get.

RE: Favorite Legend of Zelda?
My favourite Zelda will always be the very first one I owned - Link's Awakening DX for the GBC.

One of the games I loved to play when I was young. The story, the music, the action Sleepy
