I'm starting a playthrough of Pokemon Leaf Grean, I started out with my trusty Squirtle, what Pokemon should i go for during the game?

My team consists of Squirtle, Fearow, Kadabra (Never could get a friend to trade), Raichu, Nidoking and Machoke (again could not get a friend to help evolve him)

Thats something like I was thinking, I'm planning to get a Abra.

However I prefer Nidoqueen over king.

I have not really decided. But probably not, I kinda like cute Pokemon and Legendaries are often ugly.

Try to get a Pikachu in Veridian Forest, a Spearow which haves a great Atk, Abra, Gastly... it deppends a lot on what Pokémon types u like more and your preferences

Always try to get the flying pokemon first like pidgy,you dont know when you might need it.

meh dunno if ghastly is that good :/ ghost type atacks are still physical in gen 3 and the main point for the ghastly line is special atack (and speed) but maybe you can give him some good atacks other then ghost atacks

The best team is going with those you think are cool/cute/silly. Except if you're going into that serious tourney scene. Then you have some hard work to do.

My team when I beat it for the first time was Charizard, Lapras, Pidgeot, Raichu, Nidoking and Victorybell.

Graveler lvl 28

I think I am doing pretty well

You might want to drop the Graveler, especially if you can't trade. Its stats are.. well.. crappy, and the double-double weakness isn't helping much.

He is just there for now, I'm planning on dropping him later to train a Magikarp into Gyarados or train an Arcanine (once I get to Cinnabar)

I personally think Raichu's probably the best choice for an Electric type on your team.

Vaporeon is pretty good too.

Vaporeon is my favorite of the Eevee evolution but I would always pick Squirtle so I would be stuck between keeping Eevee as it is as a normal type or pick Flareon or Jolteon.

Raichu is my fav electric one too
