RE: The Free Thread
Apologies for the brief absence.
My computer had a faff and was saying that my drive was corrupt.
It's now the second time that I've saved my laptop at the 11th hour after Dell said I had to revert it to factory settings Big Grin By save I mean fiddle around with things I don't understand to see what it does (a.k.a. science)

Was it a written test or the actual driving test?

RE: The Free Thread
I had a written test for getting my learner's permit, and the actual license is a short driving test.

The written test is the hardest, IMO.

Better luck next time!

Oh really ? In the UK, the theory test is laughably easy.

I remember a question along the lines of
"You have hit someone and appear to have broken their legs; what do you do?"
A. Put them in the recovery position
B. Wait for paramedics to arrive
C. Give them a cigarette
D. Let them walk it off

I shit you not, that was an actual question.

There was also this awareness task where you were given a video and you had to click when there was a potential danger such as a car backing out of its driveway, a woman with a pram crossing the road, etc.

RE: The Free Thread
The written part was really easy here. All we had to really do was recognize road signs and know if something was illegal.
