RE: The Free Thread
Once in awhile I read articles from Kotaku. It doesn't happen that often, but I do.

That whole damn site is so confusing. Not in design or anything, just the writers. They are literally the worst writers I've seen at a popular site. I've read a lot of different video game sites that has personal posts. Even vgchartz once had a bunch of random people writing for them for cash. But when I go to Kotaku.. It's like there's no one to actually proof-read the stuff and just let people do whatever they want.

Some of the things they say over there are (probably) unintentionally pretty damn offensive. One of the more noteworthy posts over there lately has been about a woman who dumped her boyfriend because he didn't save her in Diablo 3. While this is dumb as hell, it was a quote by her that really got to me.

I left our home the next week. I've spent the majority of this year in the kind of depression that you really only seem to get after someone very close to you dies and there's nothing left to take its place.

For someone that actually lost someone, and not just a character in Diablo 3, that's pretty fucking rude. It's like saying you can relate to slavery because your worktime schedule is shitty. These are the kind of stuff that just catches me offguard and confuses me about Kotaku. You'd expect more people to pick up on this, but their only readers only see "oh that profound sadness poor girl" instead of actually seeing what she said and the context.

Even though I can somewhat understand that people visit Kotaku for gaming news, I will probably judge you if you go there to read their articles because they're good.

And now my rant is over.

I just had to write this somewhere.

I read the full article and was like "DAFUQ IS THIS!?" Wait wait so she cheated on him and you get the moron defenders in the Kotaku section saying "she had to". It doesn't matter how "unfulfilled" you feel in the realationship, this is no reason to cheat. That's just one problem with the story (amongst many other parts).

Kotaku ha! It's stupid, sheeple still go there.

Going to see Rush? I am jealous.

RE: The Free Thread
I've been on ritalin for a little over a week and realised today that my bottle was empty, so now I'm without.

HOLY SHIT I AM SO HUNGRY FOR EVERYTHING

Ritalin pretty much takes away your hunger and thinking of food makes you feel kind of sick. So my first day without I've been eating like crazy. Food tastes so good again. Today I completely ignored my diet and ate sandwiches and cereals like a mofo.

Hahaha, I know that feel, used to take medicine for my ADD...had no appetite what-so-ever, stopped taking it because I would almost never eat, and the day I stopped I ate everything.

Yeah. I started buying those diet shakes just to make sure I get fuel for the day when I take my meds.

Thank god I'm a fat fuck that can lose a lot of weight without worrying.
