Saint's Row 4.
If you guys didn't know. I love the Saints Row series, I think it's a gansta version of GTA, and it's simplicity, along with it's curahzeyness is one of the reason I love it.

I disliked 3, and I'm hoping this doesn't turn out like it.

Oh, and Gat needs to come back.

Thoughts?

Saints Row IV is supposed to be the DLC that was supposed to go with SR3. Enter The Dominatrix. I guess Rubin thought it would've been a good idea to just scrap the DLC standalone thing and make it a whole new game.

It looks like Crackdown a little to me.

The ol' Halo ODST route. I still haven't played a single Saints Row game. I should though.

Halo 3: ODST was always a standalone game. That was never announced to be DLC. It would've been like $30 or $40 too if Microsoft didn't throw in the Halo 3 multiplayer and charge it full price.

Watching that trailer nearly gave me a seizure with all the flashes...
I hope they don't screw up the depth and content more than they did with 3. I mean, I liked 3 and all, but there wasn't nearly as much satisfaction about it and the guns were stupid.

Key part is:
Quote:ODST is one of the most curious offshoots of the Halo universe to date - whereas Bungie's numbered efforts in the series have been full-blooded, triple A blockbusters, ODST seems to be suffering something of a personality crisis. First announced as an add-on for Halo 3, its diminutive price tag reflected a dip in scale from the epic canvas on which Halo 3 was painted. Six months later however, it has grown to a full price affair.

and the following paragraph confirms their ambitions were too big for DLC so they made a full game.

RE: Saint's Row 4.
It wasn't full price because of how big the game was. The actual game itself was pretty short, albeit Firefight added some length to it. The full price came along when Microsoft threw in the Halo 3 multiplayer in with the game. Because ODST was just supposed to be that campaign and firefight, that's it.
