I manged to watch the whole damn video. I cracked up a few times but it was not because of him. That was uncomfortable to watch because he was putting so much effort into the female voice and UGH just play the damn game!
Stop interacting with the character you are playing as! He/she can't hear you, they don't WANT to know you nor do they want YOU trying to talk FOR them.

That could have worked if he just picked the guy instead. That way he could role play through him instead of making up dialog for two characters. And apparently he did a rom hack of Fire Emblem where he also wrote himself into the story, and becomes a love interest. (I'm noticing a pattern here.)

Anyways trying a narrative let's play can be done, but it's better when you're role playing the character you play as; not as the main character and yourself. Like Breetai's low-IN screenshot Let's play of Fallout 2:

I freaking hate still shot LPs, I mean if that is all you can do then that is all you can do but I can't stand reading all that.

Also yeah I notice there is a pattern too and that pattern is that he needs to go and find a woman, not some pixleated girl. It's possible to do this I can assure you.
