Favorite Animal Crossing game?

I only played the Gamecube one. So... that.

If I get my 3DS for christmas, I'll get the 3DS one when it releases (or,well, after it releases anyways).

They're all pretty much the same with City Folk being the one game with the most progression. Couldn't be bothered to play that after 10 minutes though. Animal Crossing: Wild World is gangsta G hardcore though. Put a crap ton of hours into that game.

I personally like Wild World the best. Even though it makes sense for City Folk to be better it still felt more lacking than Wild World. The new content didn't really do it for me, so in the end I didn't spend more than 6-7 hours with the game. Such a shame since I literally played Wild World for months.

Judging from info and trailers the new one for 3DS will be so god damn fun. I bought my 3DS soley for that game.

City Folk is my favorite. It had more depth and things to do than any other, although Wild World is a VERY close second.
I'm super excited to play the upcoming 3DS title.

I have the GC version but never had the time to play it, should I try the DS version?

The GameCube version was worth playing when it came out, but it's pretty meh by todays games. The DS version is the best version to play...or just wait for the 3DS version.
