Well, I ended up paying a very small sum of rupees. Unfortunately, I woke my mom who was taking a nap. Ah well, you win some, you lose some.

It was having to keep going through that bloody Temple of the Ocean King a million times that made me yell at that game.

RE: Yelling at games
I have never yelled, but I'm prone to letting out a big "ARGH" when a spell of mine gets reflected and kills the main character of a Shin Megami Tensei game, causing an instant game over.

Most fighters tend to exercise my vocal chords pretty well.

Especially when it comes to landing one more hit to win -_-

I dunno. Yelling at any game unless you're with friends is kind of silly. I mean, unless the game is Seaman, it won't respond or care, so why bother?

If the game is THAT hard, I get quiet and focus.

Well, you know, during cutscenes and stuff. You get some time to scream. I do get your point though, I never scream myself.

RE: Yelling at games
I don't yell, but I do get frustrated and even sometimes let out a growling "Argh" when playing some games. For instance, I once tried to played Blazblue online, and fight other people. One hour later, I'm glaring at my screen, silently muttering death threats to some random guy/girl because they kept killing me with the same combo.
Also, I have another incident where I decided it would be fun to play Skullgirls on hard mode and try to beat that Bloody Marie boss. Five minutes later, I was begging the game to let me get at least one hit in before she kills me.

I don't want to be rude, but, if a person keeps doing the same thing, why do you keep falling for it?

In fighting games some players go in with mutual respect for their opponent, so they overestimate their strategies.

Other times, there isn't enough time to come up with a counter attack out of you character's movelist.

So.. If you're not skilled enough with a character, another player shouldn't make use of that in a versus game?

Not necessarily. Using one move over and over again is a sign of no technique, especially when a player has other weaknesses, or creativity and the player deserves no respect. It's sort of like how COD players hate noob tubers.

The fighting community values respect.

Every time I play Mario Kart. Specially on the Wii. There's something about banana peels and shells everywhere that makes me shout whenever something kind of moves in the screen. I can't even play it at friend's houses anymore.

No. Getting hit by the same move over and over shows sign of no technique from the player getting hit. Why would you do anything else when you're about to win?

If you think that using the same combo over and over is a sign from disrespect in the fighting game community you should probably watch a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament or two. Perfect example of why it's unnecessary to change something that works.
