RE: Borderlands 2
I'm gonna buy the game soon, but I will hate the fact that everybody is gonna use Zer0 in multiplayer. No, it's not a bad thing for them if they like it, but it WILL be for me, cause everybody will think I'm too mainstream for using him, even thought I want his sniping skills >:I

RE: Borderlands 2
I love this game so much.

Tiny Tina is hilarious. Though, all I see is Ashley Burch when she talks (Ash voices her, BTW).

I think this game is definitely funnier. Handsome Jack is great.

My current level is 18. But I have 3 different profiles. One is by myself, one is with 3 of my friends that I know in real life, and the other is with an XBL friend.

So addicting. I haven't played any other game this week. And I have DR2: Off The Record from Gamefly still.

RE: Borderlands 2
Well I've now played Borderlands for well over 30 hours and my verdict is that it has the potential of being an awesome game. The gameplay is great, the graphics are something new and the characters are well drafted.

However, I'm bored to tears of having to shoot the same six-or-so enemies just to collect 10 of something to bring back to some guy who will then ask me to go find 12 bottles of something in another area populated by - surprise - the same enemies as everywhere else.

I had great fun for about 25 hours, but I can't warrant spending many more just running around the same wasteland decor shooting the same enemies over and over again.

[Disclaimer - I'm judging this game as a 1-player experience. It's probably ten times more fun with others, but if I buy a game, I want to be able to play it in my own time and still have fun.]

It's great, but it sucks because I have it on the PC and the people I usually play with have it on the 360.

RE: Borderlands 2
Borderlands 2 is a hybrid First-Person Shooter, RPG game focused on over-the-top co-op play, and set in the open-world game environment of the planet Pandora. The second game in the game series, Borderlands 2 raises the 'loot and shoot' action of the original game with an even larger and more detailed world to explore, an updated gun system, a new cast of characters and character classes, and integration of storyline with action.

I absolutely loved the first one - there was a storyline, albeit one that didn't get in the way of shooting stuff.

RE: Borderlands 2
As much as I don't care for the series that much, I'll probably get 2 after the hype and prices die down a bit, and then go play as the Mechromancer. She seems like a lot of fun (more fun than the other 4 characters at least, who are basically rehashing from the first 4, with only some minor tweaks), so I'll probably enjoy the game more with her. Granted, the story is still lackluster, and the insane amount of fetch quests will bore me, but at least I'll have a decent character to help get me through the experience.

RE: Borderlands 2
The ending felt....empty to me. It wasn't bad but it didn't really have a "HELL YEAH" ending. Handsom Jack is thunder prick though. But damn is he well written! I loved doing the side missions like:
Finding Rakkman
The finale for Dave in Overlook (I paused the game and laughed so hard. I love Karima!)
Tiny Tinas missions
Claptrap missions (I cried on his Birthday)

RE: Borderlands 2
I think the game had a MUCH better ending and overall story than Borderlands.
I can't wait for the DLC for Borderlands 2 and then future Borderlands games. It is easily becoming one of my favorite franchises. Just the freezing bug needs to be fixed.... grr

Handsome Jack is the best new antagonist in recent years when it comes to video games. He is hilarious and he is a complete dick, too.

Spoiler your post for other users dude (Y) That's some big spoilerin' there.

I agree with you on the Borderlands ending, better than the first by far(without the DLC) but still felt a tad empty.

Damn right. I don't think I'll be forgetting him anytime soon. My, he got me extremely pissed
but it's because he's so well written and is such an interesting character. He easily stands out as one of gaming biggest arseholes but not because he's cheap to fight or has generic motivations but because style. I can still remember booting up the game 2 week ago when he talks to you about a diamond pony called Butt Stallion. That's how good his lines and character writing is.
