Well let me see if I can help you.

Right, I call them that because that's what I'm used to with the Xbox controller.
My point is that they're not the same thing.

Since the majority of games I play are shooters, I need triggers, not buttons that barely have feedback to them. Hope that clears that up for you.
I guess in a way it does.

Do what? I sense a bit of fanboy coming through in this statement. I've played the Playstation, 1-3, and it's the same controller for each system. So if I've played all three systems, and shooters on all these systems, and I don't like the controller (because remember, this is MY opinion), how am I making an uneducated assumption? Stop being a fanboy, and accept that this is my opinion.
I'm not a fanboy. And this is more about helping myself understand your opinion, than trying to have a bigger, better-sounding one. (I couldn't care less about that.) The first thing I said was "I honestly don't understand what you mean by most of this." That was a serious statement. I did get a little hostile, by saying that your argument was based on uneducated assumptions. I'll admit that. And looking back, now that I understand your position, that's not really a fair assumption. And honestly I can understand why you prefer the XBox Triggers over the Playstation's.

Unless you're holding it upside down or something.
Nope, I don't have midget hands, and again you're talking like a fanboy.
How does this, specifically, make me sound like a fanboy? I seriously do not understand what you're doing with your thumbs and why this would be an issue. It doens't make sense to me that you would need to stretch your thumbs in order to reach something that is under them. If you could, in some way, clarify what you mean, that would be really helpful, because I seriously do not understand this.
Quote:This is the exact problem when it comes to debating anything, there always has to be a fanboy who comes in and tries to ruin the debate with insults.
Like I said, when I'm using a PS controller, my thumb has to stretch to the analog stick, and it's cumbersome after ten minutes or so.
My point is, I don't understand what you mean by this. How is it that you have to stretch your thumbs to reach the analog sticks? That, to me, doesn't make sense (unless, like I said, you have midget hands). I am not understanding what you mean by stretching your thumbs'. I don't understand why me not understanding something automatically makes me a fanboy who's goal is to insult you. That was not, and never will be, my intention.

WRONG!
I said this:

See the word there, PLACEMENT. I don't like the placement of the D-Pad and analog stick, the actual d-pad handles fine, it's just in a bad spot. Sounds like someone didn't read my whole post.
Okay, my bad, you don't need to be so hostile in your response. I misunderstood.
Quote:It's after writing this that I realize you didn't understand my post because of your rose tinted fanboy glasses.
I think it's kind of funny that you said I'm trying to insult you, and yet, you're the one who keeps calling me a "fanboy". I didn't understand your post because I didn't understand your post. If you like XBox controllers better than PS3 controllers, that's cool. But not worth responding to. I genuinely didn't understand and so I sought clarification. If that somehow makes me a bad person, then I'm sorry.
Quote:You love the controller, it sounds like, and that's fine. I'm not judging you, or your opinion on the controller.
And yet you are...
Quote:But this is my opinion: it sucks. It's uncomfortable to play with, and needs an update to evolve with all the games that are coming out.
And you have every right to have that opinion. No one's saying you don't.
I don't love the controller. I think it's a better controller than the XBox's controller. I think it does it's job very well.
What do you mean by "...needs an update to evolve with all the games that are coming out."?
