Favorite Cheese?
I can't be the only one here who loves cheese!

So what are your favorite kinds of cheese?

Mine are:
Swiss
Colby Jack
Havarti
and Cheddar

I haven't tried all of the cheese, but I would like to.

RE: Favorite Cheese?
Awww man, I love cheese. Having grown up in the land of cheese, it's a central part of my life (don't laugh Tongue) and I have so many I would call my favourite.

Now, on non-french cheeses - I like quite a few English cheeses (cheddar, gloucester, etc.) and many ones from various parts of Europe (Italy, Holland, etc.)
I have an issue with cheese in North America. I go to the shop to buy "cheddar", and it tastes of tough mozarella. I go to buy "mozarella", and it tastes of chewy milkstuff.
Don't get me wrong, these cheeses are tasty, but any of that processed business is cheese-blasphemy in my opinion.

If you like cheese and you go to Europe, stop by a fromagerie and have a look at what we have to offer. Especially in my mountains, we have tens of cheeses for every taste; from strong blue cheeses, to full flavoured St Marcellin, to the harder Tomme de Savoie Sleepy

RE: Favorite Cheese?
Lol, it's Provalone cheese that is used on pizza, usually.

Yeah, you gotta make sure you're buying the real stuff, not that processed shit.

RE: Favorite Cheese?
I don't remember my favorite cheese. Haven't eaten any in about 6 years due to sudden lactose-intolerance.

I'm with you on that, although I was for a while a cheese addict, my lactose-intolerance quickly stopped that. It does sometimes get annoying when people say to me "Must suck, living in the land of cheese and not being able to eat it."
People are jerks.

Also, I remembered, my favorite was colby, or something like that.

RE: Favorite Cheese?
For some reason I can't remember - there was a reason but it now evades me - Wisconsin cheese was an internal joke amongst my group of friends in secondary/high school. Mostly due to this image.

I'll let you know if I remember why...

RE: Favorite Cheese?
Apple Jack
Provolone
Cheddar
Mozzarella
Colby Jack

Our town had a cheese factory. I live about 2 blocks from it, actually. Closed down many years ago. I used to go there once in a while just to grab free samples of apple jack cheese. Mmmm.

@cingchris, you live in the state above me. o_O
