Welcome to the former forums for DidYouKnowGaming?! In March of 2013, VGFacts was launched and this community was merged into the new forums there. These forums were originally taken offline at that time but I brought them back as an archive while transferring sites to the new server. Registrations and all interaction (posting, editing, moderation, etc.) are disabled but everything can still be read. If you're interested in joining the community, head on over to https://www.vgfacts.com/forums/ and join there but I've always thought it was important to preserve a site's roots so these forums will forever be available in this read-only state. Enjoy!

RE: Favorite Pokemon Generation?
Kinda sad to see not a lot of votes for Orre.. I personally thought it was something different and fun for the Pokemon franchise. Not only that, just the landscapes or graphics, for it's time, themselves were amazing! Especially Phenac City and Agate Village. Also! It covered for the most part Gens 1, 2 and 3 in the game, which was something I thought was pretty cool.

BA-BUMP!
Well since this sort of wrapped up perfectly before, with the generations going from First to Last in reverse chronological order, I figured I'd bump the thread to see what some of our newer users have to say on the matter.

RE: Favorite Pokemon Generation?
Oh yeah, here's a key for those of you who don't know the generations by game

Kanto = Red, Blue, Fire Red, Leaf Green
Johto = Gold, Silver, Crystal
Hoenn = Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald
Sinnoh = Diamond, Pearl, Platinum
Unova = Black, White, Black 2, White 2
Orre = Coliseum, Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness (Gamecube titles)

I'll update the main post

RE: Favorite Pokemon Generation?
Then I say Johto, because it also encompasses Kanto.
I still remember the guide my parents bought me to go with the game - some of the best moments of my life Smile
