Games you hate, but everyone loves

Seriously, I really dont like the series. Ive been a fan of turn based fighitng games like that,but Pokemon is probably my favourite out of all turn based games.
Plots are normally boring, with the same-ish characters, the cute ones, the grumpy one, the badass one, and I know, the graphics are amazing and theres teary moments but I just get more thrill from games like Pokemon and Fire Emblem.
