Do you know what day the Americans bombed Hiroshima?

On 9/11 2000 people died due to terrorist attacks.
In "true Aemrican" retaliation, 2 million Iraqis, Afghans (and other possible nationalities in those regions). Have been killed. Over 300 000 being civilian casualties and 100+ in this month alone. But who pays respect and tribute to those men and women, or who cares?
America: Too busy watching 2 and Half Men to care, soz.

9/11 Meh.

It's silly to bash Americans for not caring then simultaneously not care about 9/11.
Obviously the closer something is to you the more of an emotional affect is happening too you. That's why you don't cry everytime you read about a death in the paper, but you most likely will if your friend dies.

In your book it seems to be the number of deaths to deem something sympathy worthy. Where as it's great if we can force ourselves too react in that way like in your case, but it's simply not natural. I'm sure more Americans have donated to families in Africa then they have 9/11 victims, and that's what is important, Not they way you personally take it.
