I honestly don't understand what you mean by most of this.
The Playstation controller doesn't have "triggers" (they're not triggers like the Xbox controller has triggers.) They're the L2 and R2 buttons. And almost no shooters actually use them for aiming/shooting (in the very beginning, when the system first launched a couple of games did, but the majority use the L1 and R1 buttons for aiming/shooting). This just shows that you're arguments are based on uneducated assumptions.

Next, I have very short thumbs, and they go past the analog sticks, so either you have midget hands or something is wrong with what you're saying, because there is no reason you should be stretching any part of your hand significantly just to touch a part of the controller. Unless you're holding it upside down or something.

You also said the D-Pad position is horrible, and then right after you said it's fine. Make up your mind.
