Good pc games?

As you may know from some my last thread(http://forums.didyouknowgaming.com/showt...hp?tid=764 for whoever wants to see it) I am getting a laptop that I will be using for gaming. So far I know I'll be getting COD4(For dem mods, especially that star wars one, galactic warfare or something?), Battlefield 3, and some other MP shooters. I like those multiplayer games, but I can get down with a single player game if it has good story. So while I only know a couple I'm getting for sure, I'd like to know more! Once I get said laptop I would like to convert myself to a PC gamer(I am going to start console wars aren't I) but I need some games So anything that you guys like to play, recommend it here. Thanks!
