i know, i´ve seen this one before somewhere, i know, that something similar is in the game already (Not 100% sure if its gen 1) and dont know in which battle this occurs, but i´ve seen this.
However, lets start again with some pokemon stuff:
In the development of pokemon, there where alot of concept art which showed some details on how stuff has to look like of should work.
Look at this picture:
It shows a dragon like pokemon (looks like charizard to me... atleast a bit), it it NO 124 (which is Jynx now), it has 900HP and 200TP.
Not that 900HP isnt a not mentionable number for a lv 47 pokemon, no the "TP" is more important here i guess.
Which brings me to the idea, that pokemon had somethink like "MP, Magical Points" in mind, but called them Technical Points instead. They where first planned but was removed for unknown reasons and where replaced with the AP we have now.
Also on the right, you can see, that one attack drains 20 TP, which goes with my theroy having TP as AP, but every move has its own TP drain number like it is now with AP, where every attack has a gap in using an attack more often (like hyper beam would drain, with 5 AP without any powerups, 40TP from the 200TP max)
other than this art from Tajiri, i cant find more informations that belongs to this picture.
Did you know, that Tajiri had trademark problems with the name "Capsule Monsters" back then?
So the fist name which belongs to alot of concept art pictures is "Poket Monsters", but changed it first to "CapuMon" or "KapuMon" and then later to "Poket Monsters".
Did you know, that all Badges you can get in gen 1 where intendet to be items a player has to carry around in the item bag?
Later on, it was changed to the case or card every trainer has and they where displayed there.
Using cheat codes can activate them, however none of the badges do anything usefull (not that we had hopes for unused stuff to work probably lol) except BoulderBadge throw Bait and CascadeBadge throws a rock when used in a battle, just like in the Safari Zone.
Also after doing so, the music changes to a loop of Prof Oaks good pokedex jingle.
Did you know, that it was planned in gen 1 to have access to the pokedex in a battle, just like Ash in the anime? You can still use it, but it causes graphical glitches, when used.
There is a women in gen 2 in Olivine City, who refers to a pharmacy in Ecruteak City instead of Cianwood City. This possibly suggests that the pharmacy was originally planned for Ecruteak City. However, this only occurs in a map, which isnt avaible in normal gameplay, only accessable due using hacks but its still in the game code.
