Rereleases. What do you prefer?

I think a full remake is the best way to retell a certain story of a game while adding a load of new elements. It makes you feel like you are replaying a game that you love, while it gives you so many new elements that it feels like you are playing a completely new game. It also gives the game a chance to redeem itself at certain points at certain points where it was lacking.

Then again, the phrase goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," so it really depends. OoT 3D felt like it was an HD remake for the newer generation to experience the game in a better style. The game never caught my attention on the N64, but I loved it when I played it on the 3DS and it encouraged me to try out other Zelda titles.
