Sega's sports-story
On April 11, 1993, Sega was the 1st, and I think only mainsponsor of a F1-grand-prix, exclusively from the videogame-industry. The race was held in Donington Park - a course, that was only used for this one grand prix in 63 years of formula-1-history.

Too bad, that Williams-Renault's cars couldn't win, because they were also sponsored by Sega. It was the 1st videogame-based sponsoring of a formula-1-racing-team.

Sega of Europe also wasted the most of it's advertisement-budget for the Dreamcast for sponsoring european football-clubs like "Arsenal London". This contract ran untill 2002, one of the best phases of the club's history - too bad, that Sega stopped the support of the Dreamcast 2001.
