IMO, the price isn't the problem with the console. It's the games. They just don't have that many games out that warrants owning a Wii U.

I guess I still can't shake how the Game Cube had such a massive price drop and that it won't happen with a Nintendo system again. Yeah, you're absolutely right about the price staying as it is but they do eventually have some bundle deals! Plus, at some stores, they occasionally offer gift cards if you a buy a system which can help sweeten the deal.
