But seriously, I don't think this is a bad thing. The Star Wars series has a huge demographic of fans: from the people who saw the originals all the way to the little kids who only watch the Clone Wars stuff. If anyone would know how to appeal to all those people, it would be Disney.

Like I said before though, with Marvel comics (and Pixar) Disney haven't ever interfered and I've yet to see any changes made by them. Which also means Disney won't be thinking about "how to appeal to the younger audience".

That doesn't explain if princess leia is a disney princess :3
