I have had a look at the Extended Cut, and unfortunately it did end the theory, BUT quite frankly I do like the new ending. I am going to need to play ME3 through again (Mabye even another ME2 playthrough). Thanks Bumble for pointing this out to me xD

The extended cut just expands on the ending. But it doesn't change it to what everyone wanted. I just accept that the game had a bad ending. It happens in media.

I've heard a lot of people are still disappointed, but you can't really appease everyone. Personally I think it's enough to make it a decent ending.

There are still so many questions left unanswered though with such poor writing it definitely is strange since this is from Bioware.
