I have. It was really good. It's a great book, but I have a few gripes with it.
1. The love story aspect - It seemed like it was too cheesy. It was like almost every other kind of love story. The only difference was the fact that the dude had never met her until the end of the book.
2. What does it accomplish - Okay so, the world is over populated, and run down, and almost tyrannical because of this company that basically rules the internet. The main character wins the fortune, he's with his best friend and the girl of his dreams, and he dominates the company that controlled things. Everything is good. But it's not. The world is still dying from over population, and this money isn't necessarily going to do anything about it. Just because you give somebody a ton of money doesn't mean they'll do the right thing. I mean sure, the book sets it up so that it seems that he will, but you can't be sure.
Has anyone read the "Gone" series by Micheal Grant? It's seriously one of my all time favorites.
