But in terms of "ahhh what the fuck is that oh shit, oh shit", the SA-X from Fusion, I would hate it when I'm going somewhere and then suddenly the music stops and I hear footsteps, as well as the fact that halfway through the game, you hear that there is more than one SA-X on the ship.
Also dat intro.
That thing scared the shit out of me whenever I encountered it and I never got a numbness to it like you do with most scary things if they happen enough times, but that's because the SA-X was something that you only saw and never actually fought until the very end of the game and you were helpless if it you tried to fight it before then so it was always an "OH SHIT THAT THING IS GONNA KILL ME" moment whenever it came out to play.
