Yes. ODST, Wars, Reach, CE, 3, 4 and Anniversary.

That sounds about right. Yeah, you've officially got more halo games than me.

I once had ODST and Reach. But sold both of them. Reach was just bad, and there was pretty much nothing left for me to do in ODST. And I don't think I'll ever play the game again.

I would prefer the game to have the same map, but just with society advanced 20-odd years (between GTA: SA and GTA:V)

I have a feeling that, that map isn't the whole thing. Rockstar has said that GTA V's map is as big as IV, RDR AND San Andreas' maps COMBINED.
I personally find that complete and utter bullshit. San Andreas itself being bigger than San Andreas, Liberty City and two whole countries? I'd say that this is merely exaggerating on their part.

GTA SA wasn't that big, to be quite honest. Back then, they also had the limitations of the PS2 and Xbox. So the worlds couldn't be that big.

It was still way bigger than Liberty City was in GTAIV. In any case, I can't see this game being any bigger than RDR alone, as the map in that consisted of two whole countries and it was huuuuuuuuge.

SA is bigger, yes, but there's more buildings to enter in GTA IV. There's A LOT more tiny detail in GTA IV. GTA V's size being that big might not mean world size. It could also mean that there are plenty of buildings to enter and such.

Well, it wasn't whole countries in red dead. It was mainly just the Texas, Mexico border if I'm not mistaken.

That would still be bigger than what I expect of a city, no matter how big it is.

I think Zombie Riot might be onto something with what he said.

It all really depends on the limitation of the consoles doesn't it?
Regardless, San Andreas was pretty big and all they'd have to do is include the further outlying lands and make the cities bigger. RDR was big, if you put it to scale, it probably covered 12th my state (and that is without working it out so take with a grain of salt), but V wouldn't necessarily be limited to California.

From what I've heard at least so far, the game won't even cover all of San Andreas. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Why can't they just re-make the old world with a modern society Sad

I look forward to the user mods that will create the rest

And seeing how the company did make RDR they should have had no problem with making the full San Andreas.
