The GameCube - BumblebeeCody - 07-07-2012 07:14 AM When the GameCube was released there were initially 3 GameCube ports in the arse of the console. One port for the GameCube Gameboy Advance player And the other port for the GameCube modem attachment The last port was never used in the GameCubes lifespan and was later removed on later GameCube models It's rumoured that the other unused port was for a possible RAM increase or Memory increase. RE: The GameCube - A Zombie Riot - 07-07-2012 07:22 AM No, I actually did not know what the other slot with the 2 spots was for. I knew one, because I used the game boy adapter a few times. What was that modern gamecube thing (Or Gamecube Modern as the post says) anyways? Only a few games supported it like Skys of Arcadia RE: The GameCube - SERIOUSLY THOUGH - 07-07-2012 11:05 PM Couldn't one just download more RAM ? It greatly enhances the GUI of a console RE: The GameCube - Skarro - 07-09-2012 02:53 PM [Gamecube Did You Know] Holding the "Z" Button on the Gamecube's startup plays an alternative start-up song. Holding "Z" on four Gamecube controllers plays yet another alternative start-up song! Plus, your text is smaller. So, that doesn't help either. RE: The GameCube - CFMM - 07-09-2012 05:18 PM (07-07-2012 11:05 PM)SERIOUSLY THOUGH Wrote: Couldn't one just download more RAM ? I deleted system32 just so I could post this. Totally increased my megahurtz. Thanks, MaxMyPC dot com! RE: The GameCube - Fredned101 - 07-18-2012 01:04 PM Um, I'm not sure if it is relevant, but my Gamecube has three ports. I got the system at it's initial release I believe. I'm not sure if the third one is the rumored port. Fortunately, I downloaded "Registry Cleaner Pro xXx QuickScopez 2014" and it cleaned up all my visual basic.
