Sounds REALLY great, but im gonna make a hold on.Ahhhh, can't wait for Pikmin 3 to come out.It is basically the only reason why i even want to purchase a WiiU. Sending messages is great except miiverse load times, which is being looked into buy Nintendo. No there is no party voice chat during games, though there will be pause to video chat (obv audio too ) with any friend in a later update. Nintendo land seems pretty dull on your own though. The mini-games have a strong emphasis on (local) multiplayer. The upcoming features are pretty cool, but again, another reason to hold off buying one. As someone who bought the 3DS, that system took a year to have all the features available. The WiiU doesn't seem ready yet. RE: Wii-U - Skarro - 11-23-2012 01:49 AM Even single player, I've sunk hours into DK course and Balloon trip haha. Yeah it's not complete, but like the wii they won't lower the price for years since it's already sold at a loss, so if you ever want one, then might as well be now. The rush just isn't there (mainly because I also have an Xbox and PS3 so all the third party games are on those as well with full functionality). The DK and Balloon Trip minigames are fun as heck though. Easily the best of the lot. Zelda is pretty fun too but you really need friends. Shame bringing up HD graphics as a selling point is already 7 years too late though What is with that laugh at the end though...damn! O___o RE: Wii-U - Zaliphone - 11-25-2012 12:03 PM http://p4r.buzzleberry.com/?p=481 This amuses me to no end. RE: Wii-U - Skarro - 12-02-2012 02:23 PM So addicted, any of you gents pick one up yet? RE: Wii-U - Nuudoru - 12-02-2012 08:34 PM My roommate picked one up at launch and I'm way too much fun with Nintendo Land. Has anyone tried out the multi-player games with friends? I freaking love Luigi's Mansion and the Super Mario chasing one. Did anyone else pick up ZombiU? my roommate ended up buying that as well since I like Zombie stuff. I tried it out for like an hour and had kind of fun. I'm going to give it another go later today. I don't know anyone that bought that but it sold out everywhere. Good for Nintendo. RE: Wii-U - Nuudoru - 12-04-2012 04:25 AM Do anyone have issues with the F-Zero minigame in Nintendo Land? Sometimes I have to tilt the controller way too much to go straight. It just happens while I play. Even if I pause the game and calibrate it does nothing. I read that it sold 40,000 in the UK. So far, it has done pretty well for a new console. The Vita, on the other hand, has been out for a year and has only slightly broke a million. I can't wait to see the numbers when it launches in Japan next Sunday (the 8th). |
